E-WASTE | MOTION DESIGN
As a final study for time and motion design, I was given the task of creating a video using my favorite technique we learned in the class. I was inspired by both stop motion films and vector graphics. I merged the two by creating a multimedia video that had both photographs and vector images.
I then chose a topic. I have always been concerned about the environment and with the growing popularity of technology and having to have the latest model - e-waste has become a large concern.
For this project, the first step was to come up with a topic. Settled on e-waste, I began my research. Upon filling a word document with many chilling facts, I wrote a script. From there it was drawing up a storyboard, taking notes of the animations, and finally mocking up the scenes in Illustrator before moving to the final phase of animation in After Effects.
